Tune Questions for an IS250
I've seen a few videos with intakes, mid pipes and axleback exhaust clips. Is a tune required for these bolt on modifications or no? Also, has anyone done a tune on a stock IS250 to see if it may be worth it aside from going forced induction?

No. Our ecu's are encrypted and cannot be 'tuned'. There have been a few vendors that sell piggybacks that tout that they have solved the puzzle. Unfortunately, none provide any lasting performance since the computer defaults back to stock maps in less than 1k miles.
As for the BPUs, you may throw a code when you install midpipes and intake, but that can be resolved by unplugging the negative battery terminal for 10-15 minutes to reset the ECU.
