Exhaust/muffler set up for best sound? 0_o
Hey everyone. So I'm looking to get my exhaust done for my 2006 IS 250. I am looking for the car to have a deeper sound, I really want to stay away from high pitched and whiny or anything extraordinarily loud. I guess I'm looking for more of the "mustang sound" even though I'm sure the engine is not big enough to produce anything close.
ANYWAY, what do you all suggest to achieve this? I've heard a few things...purchase a mid pipe (apparently our car only has one by Invidia) and to get headers.
Does anyone else have any suggestions or maybe links to vidoes of their cars with exhaust done? Just looking for some ideas here. Thank you!

you'll never get the sound of a mustang out of this car...especially the sound of a V8. if you're going for just pure volume, you're going to need more than just an exhaust. I'm sure you know that a complete after market intake and exhaust (to include headers, mid pipe and can) over haul will change the tone of your car as well as add some power. when I had my car, I had a LMS cai and hks cf ti-hi power exhaust and it had a nice deep tone to it.
