Default Better engine sound without deep exhaust sound

Yesterday I installed a q300-h axleback on my 2016 IS350 f sport. I understand the exhaust needs some time to settle, but as of this moment the sound is too deep for what I'm looking for. I'm looking for more of an engine growl without the exhaust hum/deep sound. Any thoughts or experiences with using the PPE headers and stock exhaust? Feels like that would give a good engine sound without the deep hum from the muffler, but I could be wrong.

Also, do the PPE headers eliminate one of the cats? I live in GA so emissions are a concern.
