Has anyone replaced the OEM steering wheel with an aftermarket one like NRG, Momo, or other ones like those. I just want to see if anyone has, I'm thinking about it but there are buttons on the OEM one that I need like after an oil change to go to the settings, or just to change things on the dashboard.

Thank you guys for the comments I'll check out the steering wheels that come with the carbon fiber.

I did the DCTMS, basically still the stock wheel but with carbon fiber and better leather. Have been really happy with it

DCTMS but not from them, got it directly from the factory that makes them and it's absolutely a nice mode to do. Can also customize it to your liking as well.

What is wrong with the factory steering wheel? Modding for the sake of modding is f'n stupid. Factory wheel is great.

I would only go as far as the ones that most ppl get. The stock looking one with carbon fiber. We already have a pretty nice steering wheel. The aftermarkety ones are so plain and kind of a downgrade imo.

I got a steering wheel from Elvin Wong and it also keeps all the factory buttons. I don’t think anyone on this forum has done those quick release type wheels

Did you have to take all the buttons and wiring out the OEM steering wheel and switch it over? Or did it come with buttons already?

Same question too but in case you didn't see it, did you take all the buttons and wires off the OEM wheel and transfer it over? Or did it come with the buttons and wires already and all you had to do was install it?

Yup, you switch the factory buttons and paddle shifters to the new one but it’s a very easy process.

Did your steering wheel line up correctly in the grooves when you put it on? I centered my wheels and when i put on the new one, it was off by like 10 degrees.
I tried getting an alignment done, but it didnt fix it. I read up that you may have to adjust the tie rods to fix the issue.

From the looks of the Elvin wheel it appears he is modding a stock wheel...therefore it should fit back exactly as the your original.
If it's off 10 degrees, then remove it and move it one spline towards the center from the direction it's off.
If they couldn't fix it with an alignment, then they didn't do the alignment properly...I hate the say it.

How’s the longevity on Elvin’s products? I heard some people had issues with other CF steering wheels delaminating over time.

When I first test fitted it, it was a tiny bit off but I just took it back off and put it on the next notch and it straightened it out just like @Sasnuke said.

So far so good. I’ve had the wheel for 8 months now and it’s in the same condition as when I got it. It also feels like it has really good build quality and I was surprised at the weight of it when I got it.

absolutely agree on the alignment part. Whats frustrating is that I did take it off the notch and tried to put it back on, One to the left, and then one to the right. Both were off.
Unfortunately the papers shown the alignment was dead centered and i've actually taken it to about 3 places now and noone is able to fix it.

I know for sure i centered the wheels and put the steering wheel on as close to center as the notches would allow.
