Magnaflow X-Pipe & Resonator Delete
So I just ordered a Magnaflow X-pipe 2 1/4 online and stopped by my local muffler shop to see how much he'd charge to install it and delete the 2 resonators
I was quoted: $95 for the x-pipe, $40 for each resonator replaced with 2 1/4 inch piping (to my understanding there's 2 and 2 1/4 is the size to go with)
Was just wondering if that was a fair price or if anybody knew a spot in Orange County

I'd say the price is average.
On a side note you will lose power with that x pipe(assuming you have a 400). The car is designed to run with a y-pipe because of the small displacement of the motor. The y pipe makes good low end and mid range torque. You can search the ls forums as member "JBrady" has done extensive research on this.

I read about the possibility of losing a bit of low end, but also read the difference isn't really noticeable. Appreciate it though. Hoping for it to have a good sound with my Borla v1's
