Boost/AFR gauge placement after swap/na-t?
I am working on setting up 2 x 52mm gauges in my 99.
But I soon realized that the GS interior is not like other cars. I wanted to get an idea of other members gauge placement in their 2GS. Please post pictures of your gauge setup!
I was wanting to install just a regular dual gauge pod on the pillar. But I want to explore other options as well. I am thinking about placing boost/AFR in the location of the ashtray or maybe remove the center air vents and make a custom holder to put them there.
Any body already done this or have any pictures? It would help a lot in helping me make a choice and come of with a design. Yes, I did search, but nothing useful.
Thanks in advance.

That's exactly what I was thinking about doing! Looks great.
How difficult is it to keep an eye on the gauges down there while driving "over the speed limit"? I love the look but am afraid I would not be keeping my eyes on the road as much as I should.

It's not bad. I was going to do the A-pillar instead but then I would have had to pay an extra $150 for a custom wrapped dual gauge pod. The ashtray looks sleeker IMHO.
I used a piece of black gloss plexiglass for the ashtray. I cut out 2 holes for the gauges and dropped it in to the gutted ashtray.
