Rock's SC install is finally done!

Looks great and congrats on the install. Back in the day when I was boosting my old gs3 I put the fic in the glove box to the right in that pocket. I had the boomslang harness as well. It makes it all the way to the engine bay and in the ecu box with about a foot extra. I cut a slit in the firewall groment and fed it threw there and ran it zip tied to the wiring loom from the firewall to the ecu box. Fyi I was going to mount it on the ecu box as well at first lol

It's all about my car stumbling at idle in closed loop after it's warmed up. This is preventing my last (2) tuners from being able to tune it. Had the latest tuner look at it and he totally feels that the tune is the problem and feels he can get it right. I read something somewhere that it could even be my injectors. They are 13yr old RC440's. Even though I got them professionally cleaned I have read that the old technology and shear age can be the culprit. But then I ask why is my idle nice and smooth when the FIC isn't connected? This is why I feel it may not be my injectors after all.
All I know is that I think the last tuner pulled too much timing...over 20 degrees up top when I read that others making more boost (15psi or so) are only pulling 7 or 8 degrees of timing. Too much retarded timing may be telling my car to run rich even when a Crap ton of fuel is being pulled out of my fuel map at low RPM (idle). I think I am going to try to bring my timing down to -8 degrees up top, then see where the fuel is at and enrich or lean out from there.
This is where I'm at. Other than suggesting a full standalone if you have any tuning advice or can comment I'm all ears. Thx

On the road to success! With the help of badblackgs I am straightening out the wiring in the $360 "plug and play" Boomslang harness I bought...not so much plug and play. I suspected the wiring was messed up but went through it again after the recent help I got and sure as anything the Cam and Crank wiring was jacked up. I will try to get my newly corrected harness to the shop where my car is at in a day or so. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks
