Boosting with the twins... is250 turbo build
#21
I picked up some oil lines, hose clamps, scavenger oil pump and rubber piping couplers this morning. I want to install the oil pump, oil tank and hoses today so that way my exhaust shop can fabricate everything and that way it'll be ready to just tighten everything up and go.
I still have to figure out how I'm going to make the oil pump turn on whenever the car turns on. I don't want to run a switch to it, I want it to turn on remotely.

Found a solution to the noisy oil pump! I had initially bolted it in to the bare metal of the spare tire well and I found out that if I put some rubber between the pump and bare metal I can create a cushion so it doesn't vibrate throughout the whole car.
Gonna go drop off the turbos and intercooler at shop that will be doing the fabrication.
On a different note... I ran into a problem. The guy who i bought the turbos from gave me the wrong oil return fittings. They're not for a T3 turbo so I'll be exchanging those on monday.

Agreed. Those are decent little turbos. You may decide to change some things around once you're up and running but to start those look promising.
My high level advice to you around TB piping:
1. Keep the maf just a few inches further than stock distance and orientation from the TB.
2. Tuck your bov(s) beneath your passenger headlight on the TB piping.
You should never have to worry about maf/intake related CELs if you do this.
Additionally, do NOT T your bov(s) off of the stock vacuum press/evap near the TB/intake manifold. This caused erratic behavior when I did this as well as a few guys overseas in the early boosting days. Use either the stock capped barb on the IM or tap your own just after the TB.
