2006 IS250 LS1 Swap
#39
Thanks SB350. I'll post my engine build pics when I find some time but right now it's hard to divert my attention from the swap. Your car looks sick, the wedssport wheels are on my short list right now, just not sure if ill have any money left once the swap is done.

I did some more work on the clutch pedal placement, fuel system diagnostics, and brake system planning.
First, I wanted to track down the fuel lines. I am planning on using a bypass style fuel pressure regulator so I need a supply and a return line. I don't have any specs on the IS250 stock fuel pump but I am going to give it a shot unless I discover that it's not adequate. The pictures below show the fuel line locations at the fuel tank as well as the engine bay. There was an extra line in the engine bay that I tracked down to a unit underneath the trunk. After a little research I found it that it's a fuel vapor canister. Something for emissions. At this point I don't know what I am going to do with it so I'll have to do some more research.
Fuel Tank Connections
Engine Bay Connections
Fuel Vapor Canister (To get an idea of the location, you can see the exhaust where it splits to go to each muffler in the background)
The IS250 brake controller is huge and in the way of where my clutch master cylinder needs to go. I also don't think it would work properly without the inputs from the engine so I have decided to pull the system. I'll most likely install a brake proportioning valve in it's place.
Brake Controller, Now you see it...
Now you don't. I have a few marks on the firewall in the background where the clutch master will penetrate the firewall.
