GTE Question for you ****'s
So I had an SC until last summer (sold it smh) and to be honest I should of never let it go. But. the way things are shaping up for me I will be able to pick up another Lex this summer just gotta decide either another SC or another GS OR an IS which I have never owned. Driven many but never owned one, The deal breaker will be these swap / conversion questions I have that I hope some of you GTE guys can answer . The plan would be either full blown GTE swap or GTE frankenstien
1. If I go full GTE swap and swap in the TT auto trans what kinda ecu do I need to keep the car acting as stock as possible with AC? OEM ecu and piggy back or full standalone ?
2. Can I use the oem E-shift trans with a TT swap ? Can this trans be built from Titan or BL ?
3. If I swap GTE internals into the bottom end and build the the stock trans and eliminate the VVT-i what ecu will be needed here ? Basically an NA-T setup
As you can tell I dont want to swap over to manual trans I just want the auto working like factory and if possible keep the e-shift function (just because I want it, i know it aint an F1 type semi-auto)
