Hey guys,
So I've removed my resonator from my IS250 and the sound is kind of what I'm aiming for....not super raspy and it sounds farily decent outside...

I was wondering what would happen if I cut out the stock mufflers and maybe stuck magnaflow mufflers in instead? Anyone do something like this?

I've got an is350 with resonator cut off and magnaflow mufflers, it sounds pretty deep. I'll try and get a video clip of it. but that's what I did about 4 months ago. I still have my stock mufflers if you want my magnaflows, I'm trying to get an HKS hi power now since I have a little bit more money.

A video would be awesome! If it sounds pretty decent, I'll be ready to take those magnaflows off you whenever you're ready

a video clip of a 350 wont give u a good idea. i have a full header back exhaust, 2.5 inch stainless with x-pipe, seconary cat delete, resonator delete, and magnaflow mufflers. true dual. i think the NOTE of mine would be the same as yours, only much louder given the lack of cats and the fact that its a full dual. if youd like to hear mine, its the second IS in this video:

What did you do to get around the no Cat CEL?

Secondary cats are after the O2 sensors, thus, no CEL
