The gas mileage aspect of it has piqued my interest. I agree with you on exhaust end of thing, but I too have gained in some areas with my current setup. If it isn't crazy sounding as I have a very tame sounding exhaust. It may just be the ticket for me to make the purchase. I would be truly grateful if you made a sound clip.

OK, PM me your email address and I'll send you a MP3 file.
It is from startup so you can hear idle and cruise. at about 40 seconds it is a run from idle up to 40MPH. Then at about 1:10 it is a run from idle up to 65 MPH.

hmm i like the look too much with my engine cover on as well. with the 3.5 piping would the gs3 cover still be functional without hacking up the opening?

Here's mine for my 400:

I'm going to take the idea of that cover. I believe now that alot of air is escaping through the top of things so I'm going to look and see what I can do. I want to make it completely removable and not drill into anything so this will be fun. lol.

you just need to notch the end where it comes out on the v8's i dunno if the i6's need any trimming or not. i havent put mine on cause i have a custom carbon fiber engine cover (proudly the ONLY gs430 CF cover in the wordl) so i wanna take my time trimming it....
