Dyno for my IS300
Hey, is it possible to put a stock IS 300 on a dyno to tune the air flow ratio without buying any chip or anything ? I just put a short RAM air intake on my IS and I love the way it sounds and performs! I see what the car can do with something as simple as an intake so i would like to know what else can i do for the meantime to crank as much power out of my IS as i can . Thanks...

you cant tune a stock ecu. theres no hack or chip for Lexus cars.
you can add a Apexi SAFC, Greddy Emanage or some other piggy back and try tuning that. but you wont see many ponies with just an intake. i wouldnt waste money on dyno time for just an intake.
save the money on dyno time and buy yourself a SRT intake, which comes with a black box which taps into the ecu. its not tunable but will produce more HPs than that stanky ebay short ram you bought.

If anything you should have gotten a baseline dyno with your car bone stock. Then I would have done at minimum your intake and safc tune on the dyno. You'll see some gains but if that is all you are planning to do as far as performance bolt ons, get the SRT intake like baadhabit suggested. Then you won't need to dyno the car, and you'll have your intake, afr correction, etc all in one package and it installs in a few hours.
