Default Sparkplugs Selections

Hi guys. I own a 03 GS300 at 86k miles. I think it is time that I change my sparkplugs since I am the 2nd owner. So I am being a bit of decisiveness on choosing a good set of plugs; between TM sparks, Denso, NKG and a new company to me Pulstar. I have been reading up and I guess all is good base on preference but would like to see an update as well. BTW anyone try Pulstar before? From what I been reading they sound pretty amazing and so is the price between $25-$50 each!

Hands down NGK or Denso, go with what's proven and not just some gimmick.

Hey Binh, I can get you Denso Iridium Long Life last for 100k (recommended) or if you want the NGK Iridium, I can get for you cheap. Let me know.

Looks like the currently popular brand is NGK. (I like them and Denso as well )

John I let you know at the end of the week. Thanks!

I've used both NGK and Denso before in my vehicles. The drawback to denso is the price, but I've noticed that the electrodes last a little longer than the NGK's. Now, who can find me some NGK Iridiums IX that's one heat range colder or the denso IK22's for less than $5.99/each??

Today I finaly made time to change my sparks. I went with the NGK Iridium IX over their Iridium laser. I choose the IX just simiply they perofrm a bit more aggresive and they last about 50k miles. By than I plan to change the plugs wire anyway. Maybe than I will get the "laser" series they are said to last up to 100k miles. All this was confirmed with a NGK tech before makeing the descions.

Well anyways I just want to share two picture for those who have not change their sparkplug may want to concider. My car was useing OEM Denso SK16R-P11 @ 87k mile. I dont think they were ever changed by the previous owner base on the dealer reports...........

After the change I did feel a little more power to the wheel, car reved stronger and faster. Idle wise I could'nt tell. Its a Lexus Clean the throat while your at it as well.
