What I don't understand is how Jeff says he is 450rwhp and runs high 12s....With those numbers he should be in mid 11s in a GS300. Even with a 20% drive train loss he should be in the high 11s or very low 12s.
Got traction?
Not trying to call him out or anything, but this does raise questions....

I think if Jeff told me he ran 6's or 17's I'd believe him either way 'cause his knows his ****.

But do the math. At 450rwhp on a 3800lb car (assuming Jeff weighs around 160lbs) with a 20% driveline loss he should be around mid to high 11s maybe even very low 12s.

I'm not saying he don't know his ****...But really it's pretty much the numbers don't add up. Something is off...There's plenty of proof that Jeff knows his stuff when it comes to cars....

My car isn't exactly the ideal drag setup lol. First of all, it's EXTREMELY heavy. I weighed it at the scale at the track which is accurate within 10lbs. My car was 4050lbs with no driver lol. Keep in mind I have a heavy system in the trunk. Also, I was getting no traction at all. I was also running on street tires with them still at street pressure of 42psi. I only had time to get in about 4 runs that day, so I didn't have a chance to dial it in that well. I lowered the pressure on one run and I nearly went into the wall because of the tire condition. I didn't realize until later that the tires I ran on were down to the threads on the inner edge due to neg camber wear! My car would get really squirrely at 100mph+ on the track. I was so lucky I didn't have a blowout!
Anyways, enough of excuses. I'm rebuilding my car to be better this time around with a stronger transmission and a HKS T51R turbo. I plan to take my car into the 10's once the drag strip opens up again in the spring
Below is a picture of the tires, look at that inner edge of the tire! I was seriously lucky it didn't blow out on me!!!

Not ideal drag setup, 4k pounds if I didnt know any better I would think you drove a GS 300. You forgot to say the sun was in your eyes, and 10mph wind speed from the east.
