Is that a lot? I used to go to monro muffler on 7. But they went out of business. The other monro muffler, charged $100 to install a resonatoator on my eclipse. (they had to take the muffler down)

SO I figured $100 seems about right. Some other shop wanted $150 to weld on

I had oval Borla tips installed on my stock muffler--pulled off the outer pipe and put on the new tip, only to find that it wouldn't go in all the way (despite the same diameter) due to small protrusions present on the inner pipe. I had a muffler shop cut off the old pipe close to the muffler and welded the new tip to the muffler directly. Watching the man cut and weld the tip with a blow torch, sparks flying in all directions, while the muffler was still on the car, sent chills down my spine. Fortunately no damage was done. I paid $30.

Well if anyone knows a cheaper place.. that does decent work.... let me know. Other places wanted $150.

I dont mind paying $100, as long as the tips are on straight and dont rust off at the welds

I ended up going to meinake. It actually ended up costing $125, because they had to take down the exhaust.

Its not bad though. The guy spent a lot of time making sure it was aligned properly, and that it was the way I wanted.

Really? The guy who did my exhaust took like 2 hours. Did the guy end up taking the exhaust down? Who did your work? I wonder if I should chnge my tip.

There is a part where the tip goes upward toward the bumper. I am not sure if I like it. If I can find someone to do the work for less a second time, I may just do it.

i think it looks good. was there enough room to use a longer tip? i found some nice tips in my garage i bought awhile back. i those are some of the shortest tips the magnaflow has listed. my car has the oem body kit so i can probably get away with using a longer tip.
