Default Got my TEINS CS Coilovers + JoeZ intake & Blitz filter

Hey Guys.. i got my Teins.. but the sad part is I won't be installing it till spring of 2007. We're hitting winter up here in the North and well a lowered car doesn't make any sense.

But I will be installin ghte JoeZ intake + blitz filter this weekend!

You will love the ride on those..... Had them for my SC.... VERY comfortable/soft ride on the softest. Just make sure you post some pics when you install them You can always install them and keep the car on the highest setting for now

K I thought you will be driving the car in the winter also too, so you'll need to go through the process every spring/winter of lowering and raising.

the IS250 AWD was supposed to be a winter car only. But I will be driving it in the summer as it seems. I can lower it now and deal with it for this winter, but the idea was i would install it and lower it at the same time. I can do this in the spring (saves me money) or I can do it now, then re-adjust in the spring and leave it like that. But I can see that I can lower it now anyways. Sort of makes no sense.. since next year if I install it.. it's going to be lowered, so why not do it now anyhow!

You're gonna pay someone to raise/lower it? Buy the wrench, jack it up, and crank those suckers DOWN, man !

Just remember, righty tighty, lefty loosey!

In all seriousness, though, you should be able to adjust coilovers yourself in your driveway, without spending more than an hour or so.

So what are you going to do everytime winter rolls around? take the coilovers off? Just leave them on, and change the ride height.

How far can you lower the car in inches with the CS? I am ready to buy some myself and dont know if I should go with the CS or SS. The car will be slammed. Forget winter, crank them all the way down and use the car as a snowplow!

So the Tein CS will fit and work correctly with 0 problems for the AWD? I was told otherwise....
Very interested in lowering my car, but not to the point where the aftermarket suspension components will be of harm to my car.. Just wondering..

Don't scare me here!!! from my knowledge coilovers are just the same as shocks/springs but with ability to adjust ride hight and ride quality!

i only plan on dropping 1.2 inch in front and 1.0 in the back.
