Default ???Injen intake for GS400???

I want to get the Injen intake for its looks and good comments from other members, but all the sites I have visited state that the intake is for the GS430 and not the GS400. Is it still compatible with the GS400? Anybody have other suggestions. I plan on having a custom cold air box built by Bruce Nomura if that makes any difference. So is it compatible?

They do not make one but the weird thing is that at the EOS meet they had a raffle for a Injen intake for your choice of Lexus and a GS400 was on the list. I was going to enter but remembered that there wasn't a kit for our cars... The winner did have a GS400 so maybe we'll see what he gets.

looks like they make one to me...

although that looks like GS430 Engine, i would assume it would be the same setup, considering that you dont have the ecu.

if you look carefully in the picture above, looks like there are only 2 vacume hoses going into the intake, I just put K&N in my gs400, and i know for sure it had 3 vacume hoses for mind. Maybe that's the only different. I could be wrong though.

Don't think of it negatively, think of it as a great investment. Better HP/TQ gains, and it looks sick. You can always get it chromed too!

I dont think the SRT is worth it... So im gunna go w/ the K&N intake.. Its got basicly the same design as the SRT and is about $250 less... You dont get the Chip w/ the K&N... But i dont care.

Go PM Dee, he's the one who sponsored EOS and gave away the intake in the raffle. He'll explain why there is an application for the 400.

I'm just going by what DEE told me and he assured me it would fit.

That's why I posted it HERE: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...5&pagenumber=2

Well....let me pose this question. What other intakes are available? I know of K&N (not polished..unfortunately) and RS Akimoto (two piece, ugh!). Are there any others besides SRT (too much$$$)?

No GS400 intake listed on the site....

http://www.injen.com/application_intakes.html

You could always e-mail them and see if any of the other models are compatible.

I believe its the Mass Air Flow Sensor that is different between the 2 motors. one is more squarish and the other is roundish. Something of that nature. They only have it available for a 430 motor right now, not the 400. Someone earlier posted that injen doesn't list it on their site.
