Default different mufflers

I'm 70 years old and just bought a 1992 SC 400. I'm not Ricky racer but it's just too quiet. Does any one have experience with Magna flow or flow master mufflers? I don't want an entire system and don't want it obnoxiously loud and not obsessed with more power, just want to hear my V8.

M2 Performance / Manzo axlebacks are the easiest way to go, being a direct replacement for the factory mufflers. They'll add some much needed grunt to the exhaust note and run $250 or a bit less. I imagine you'd end up spending more than that to get something generic fitted.

Honestly, a resonator delete might be what you're looking for.

That's a lot more trouble than swapping mufflers and nearly the same cost, though.

Go to YouTube and listen to other owners of SC400 that took off their mufflers. that is what I've done. Now I need to go to a muffler shop
and get straight pipes made. Not too loud, I can hear the exhaust and also the Stereo. Those Mufflers are heavy.

Magnaflows sound good, but honestly you are gonna want to cut out the resonators. It's not hard but will make a big difference in sound.
