Default Decompression

Hello All,

I did some R&D over the weekend with my spare engine. I shaved some material off the head chamber to see if that would be possible or a way to low compression. I also mentioned other ways to decompress the 1UZFE. If you have any info or methods, please let me know. I am trying to create an achives for 1UZFE. http://www.lextreme.com/decompression.htm

You removed material from the combustion chamber? (I assume you mean the cc and not the deck). They seem to be a pretty efficient design, hope you know what the hell you're doing, head porting is a very exact science, especially on a four-cam motor, but good luck, you couldn't just go with a thicker head gasket or custom pistons?

Gotcha, so you plan to rework the chambers and then CC the head to calculate the resulting compression ratio?
