98-00 SC300 Timing belt/tune up part numbers
I did this a while ago, but I was asked for this list from a friend of mine, so I decided to post it online. I hope it is helpful for someone else.
My 98 SC300 was leaking oil from the vvt-i gear which was causing a huge mess in my engine bay. The leak started a little after I changed my timing belt, but I didn't want to redo the job again just to change the cam gear. I continued to drive the car for another 15 to 20k miles and my engine bay started looking like a mess. I decided I didn't want to deal with any more oil leaks, so I opted to do a refresher on the motor. These are all the parts I ordered. Not everything is necessary, but I included the part numbers anyways.
First batch of parts:
My motor was disgusting
The grime was getting trapped between my harmonic balancer and the timing belt cover. The hot oil was basically cooking the plastic.
