Pretty standard......just look for poly ones in same dimensions as stock ones...

Only issue is rear hangers are not replaceable....using stock brackets....although you could cut the one side out to allow it to be removable but it may slip off

Poly, that is a good idea I have broken a couple due to not having a flex section.
one of the catback hangers near the midpipe I actually doubled up the rubber hangers, you can fit 2 on there pretty easy lol.

KARTBOY

Torque Solutions

These are the brands I would recommend. I personally have KARTBOYs on my SC and my Integra.

When you install them on the car, ONLY USE SOAPY WATER. Do NOT use silcone spray or wd40. Those contain a chemical in the aerosol that can eat away at the poly and weaken it

Doesn't that make them iffy in a car environment, especially below the car, where all sorts of cleaners and solvents are likely to be coming in contact? Maybe it's okay if it's just something in the aerosol, which isn't going to stick around long after use, but you'd still have to be careful cleaning/lubing nearby stuff down the road.

I just saw a picture from Flyin' Miata this past week of what happens when a poly exhaust hanger comes in contact with the exhaust...

thanks for the link, do you have any idea on the mm, I tried to check mine but they are all stretched out from being the originals, what I came up with is 12mm holes and 36mm length hole to hole?

Exhaust hanger diameters vary depending on what aftermarket exhaust you have. Length too. I have a big single exit exhaust on my car, and I bought hangers so that the exhaust would hang just below the rear subframe securely. This was over a decade ago, so I don't know what measurements I took. The best advice I have is if those numbers work for you, then buy those.

Petroleum based lubricants eat away at polyurethane. This is a known fault of poly.

But if your car is constantly leaking oil, you probably should get that looked at first

Did you ever get poly exhaust hangers for your car? I'm looking for a way to mount the poly hangers without using the stock brackets since I don't have them. I traded exhaust with my friend and gave up my stock ones for these ghetto brackets he had made.

I've been trying to find some thick gauge L brackets and use 2 L brackets with a screw through the center to make hangers, but I haven't had any luck during my search. Maybe I should just try to find some use ones and cut them like this diy. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...xhaust-Hangers

Thank you. I'm assuming 12mm is the diameter of the holes that the exhaust hangers go into?

you can probably go 10mm but it will be really tight to put on but 12mm is a tad loose
