Just wanted to put a pic up of the new/old thermostat housings. The old one feels a slight lighter, and brittle in comparison. The hairline crack is right where the circle in the mold formed by the left bolt hole. Perhaps the previous owner over torqued it, I'll never know. Just waiting on the gasket now that goes in between.

I think my timing belt has also skipped a teeth.
I've done the timing belt once 4years ago, but have one question if I need to do it again. If the crankshaft rotates from the 0 mark after I have already removed the timing belt, what should I do to get it back to 0, I don't want to hit the valves or anything like that. And how about the cams if they move without the timing belt being on, which direction is safe to turn and how much?
