plummeting mpg
#33
I've used a few fuel treatments and haven't seen any correlation between that and mpg, although that's not specifically what I was looking for.
simple maintenance stuff will help too.

Things seem to be looking up! My last three fill-ups have been:
1) 13.224 ga @ 243 mi = 18.38 mpg; changed coils mid-tank, ~1/2 highway
2) 15.817 ga @ 290 mi = 18.33 mpg; 1/2 to 2/3 city
3) 6.893 ga @ 157 mi = 22.78 mpg; mostly highway, several stops; a few hard accelerations
The significant change was finally swapping out ignition coils -- they yielded inconclusive results when testing them. When I had the exhaust work done, the guy said it sounded like a misfire. Turns out he may have been on to something. Replacing the coils eliminated the last of my hesitation issues, and mpg seems to have immediately trended upward. I still have to see where it's at for a tank of just city driving, though.
24+ mpg does look achievable on the highway. I'm hoping it stays in the 16+ mpg range around town now.
