Anyone used Driftmotion's 1JZ aftermarket timing parts?
I was curious why my car of timing belt goodies was way cheaper from DM than through other places who sold kits, then I re-read the descriptions of the parts in my DM cart and saw they weren't OEM Toyota. Though I'm sure these companies make the parts for Toyota and they just put it in their own box, I was curious if anyone had used the NTN hydraulic tensioner, the $40 timing belt idler, and the Aisin water pump?
I'm sure they're just fine, I just don't want to purchase these if they're prone to failure. I like to use OEM wherever possible but sometimes ya gotta save a few bucks here and there.
Plus, it'd be great if they'd hurry up and get the gasket set in stock so I can get all my cam seals, front/rear main, and valve cover gaskets all at once

I really wouldn't worry about the parts that driftmotion sells. The aftermarket parts are high quality. The hydraulic tensioner and timing belt idler should last no problem. and Just so you know Aisin is OEM.
