Default Oil Leak - Need Help

So my alternator went bad because of a leaky power steering pump. I know, big surprise right. I replaced the alternator and pump. Well I still have a really bad oil leak that is dripping from somewhere in the same area. Since I'm probably not the first to experience this, does anyone have any suggestions on where it might be coming from. I don't want to rip out the alt and pump again if I don't have to. It took me two days to do it last time. I tried looking at the factory shop manual to see whats behind there. But I couldn't find any good pictures. Any suggestions????

I would wash it down and figure out where the new leak is coming from. maybe the valve cover gasket or the cam seal on that side.. can you tell if it is oil or power steering fluid, usually the PS fluid is a reddish color on a toyota because its ATF fluid, do not refill with regular power steering fluid, it will work, but its not the right fluid.

Thanks for the reply. Valve cover cool. Cam seal...... never changed one of those. But at least know I know what to look for in the manual. It's definitely oil. If not ATF, what then should it be? I just used Amsoil Synthetic ATF when I changed it out.

have you been useing synthetic oil or is this your first time?also you probably have a cam seal leak and this repair is very time and labor intensive because you will need to remove almost everything in front of the engine, but to check the leak area is simple just remove the cam cover enough to look inside.I feel like the cam bearing is worn and the oil being used may be to lite and slippery for the worn bearing.GOOD LUCK.

if its not oil its something you missed on the power steering pump. don't miss any bolts some of them hold the 2 halves of the pump together.
