thank you for reply. 6 hours to get pump and rack in. not bad at all!
10 hours for timing belt and water pump is pretty standard for the 1st gen 1uz-fe or just the sc400 because tt's tight fit?

Rack and pinion about 2-3 hours if everything goes smooth. Replace the bushings while you have it pulled.
Power steering is about 2-3 hours also. Bleed it with the car off. Use dexron 3 fluid nothing else.
The timing belt and water pump is about 8-10 hours or so. Alot of parts have to come off.

crap on a shoe. i lost my first post.... Well thanks for responding. Even though I fudged my first post. I'll get her running oem before i start doing any building i really want to get timing belt, injectors, new gaskets and new plugs etc. I gotta save just to do that lol
Im really beginning to appreciate this car as i finished getting interior looking like new. IMO its probably one of the nicest cars to sit and ride in ever when the seats and dash etc.. are top notch.
