Default Anyway to disable key in ignition sound?

When my car is off It keeps making the beeping sound as if they key is in the ignition, the light around the ignition stays on as well. If I actually put my key in and turn the ignition it goes away, but will return when I remove my key.

Ive had to disconnect my battery at night to prevent it from dying. However, when I reconnect the battery, the sound wont return until I start the car and remove the key again.

I cant figure out the issue so I wanted to know how I can eliminate the sound.

Huh, my car was doing the same thing not 3 weeks ago..I just gave the dash a swift kick under the steering wheel and it stopped.

But, IIRC there is a box under the dash that gives the key-in chime, just not sure which one it is exactly. Now I know for sure on S13's, that box can be removed with no issues, but on the SC Im not so sure.
