I recently bought a AUTO 93 sc400. At first it would not engage in any gear, From Park, to Low. I adjusted the shift linkage and now it does engage BUT, After about 2 mins none of the gears will engage again?!? If I let the car sit for a few hours and try it again, the same exact thing happens over and over. What is wrong?


( i also replaced the ATF as I have read numerous times on here that it helped some people out, but I'm SOL)

I am no auto trans expert but it sounds like its time for a new trans. most fixes at this point are temporary at best from what I have seen of these trans slipping or not engaging threads.
