Default Help ASAP car wont start

I have a 1995 sc300 auto. the car has about 126000 miles. I had a problem with the car not shifting into overdrive so I borrowed a remaned ecu from him and the car had been running great and shifting into all gears including overdrive. I have also had the egr delete with the resistor done since mid october of 2012.

a couple weeks ago I got in the car and started it. it ran for about 5 seconds and died.In that 5 seconds it ran rough, motor shook then died.

checked and made sure it was getting spark and it is. Checked the timing belt and its on and not jumping teeth or missing teeth. I just did the timing belt along with the water pump back last august when i got the car. I changed the fuel filter last weekend with no luck. So this weekend I tried jumping fp and b+ on the diagnostics port. No luck so I changed the fuel pump. I put in a walbro 400lph pump because i plan to do a 2jzgte swap soon anyways so I did the fuel pump ecu 12v mod so the walbro would be getting its required 12volts to run. Car started and idled for a second and died. now car wont start or run. We changed the maf from his sc3 to mine and no change in starting or running,

The inside of the tank is clean and no water in the fuel.

It has all the following new:

distributor cap
rotor button
plugs
wires
fuel pump
fuel filter
timing belt
water pump
idler pully
timing belt tensioner
12v fuel pump mod

any suggestions im at loss here. if I dont get this running within the next two weeks I will begin the tear down for the 2jzgte swap i guess.

I'd start by checking for spark. Have you checked the fuses?

I had the same issue after swapping my ecu...the ecu fuse that I thought was good(took it to my buddies shop) was blown. try swapping it out. Also I would rechech the fp/fp ecu.

Which one is the ecu fuse? Cause I swapped the main efi relay with the defrost relay and no luck. I know the defrost relay is good cause I used the defroster all winter. Gonna recheck some stuff tomorrow and see what happens.

Has anyone ever had a problem with the distributors on these cars?
