Default GE NA-T correct MAF placement?

I been searching online but havent got a clear answer and want to know Where is the correct place to mount the MAF sensor? Before the throttle body or on the turbo side?

Eventually later down the line i will run a GTE ECU or go standalone but for now I want to get this rolling.

Either will work. Before the turbo, you need to recirc your bov or tune to avoid stalling.

or tap the gas when coming to a stop, thats what i had to do with my Sentra to avoid stalling.

Before the turbo is the correct place to put it and then recirculate or as they said you may stall if you don't blip the throttle, or quickly put it in another gear so the engine won't stall out. oh the good old days.
hotwire you can get away with putting in the intercooler piping sometimes like shown in those pictures, but with the 92-95 sc300 KVF maf's you want those in front of the turbo or weird things will start to happen.

good luck hope you do the tt ecu mod sooner than later.

Which brings another question, could a 92-95 SC with the KVF style maf be upgraded to a hotwire style(300zx or mustang maf)? or even a map sensor?

If your going to go that far into it, may as well just ditch the MAF all together and go with the GTE ecu.

Do it before the turbo, its just easier

And like everyone else said, go with tt ecu or standalone to not have to worry about it

before it was not possible because that cannot be done with the odb1 ecu. If you want to swap to an odb2 ecu you could use the hotwire maf, but that would be most of the work for the tt ecu mod without much of the benefit. for a few more wires you can do the tt ecu mod with a JDM GTE setup which only uses a map sensor which means you dont have to worry about recirculating or your intake pipe having to be too small.

If you do want a hotwire maf setup that would work you could use a USDM GTE ecu which uses hotwire maf and a map sensor, but you will have to recirculate and the maf will limit your intake piping unless you go with something custom.

There are only 2 options for a reliable headache free na-t. one is the tt ecu mod, the other is a standalone.

Which I assume would go even smoother if you woud pair the tt ecu + map sensor with a 7M crank angle sensor and TT coil packs yeah?
