Code 55 Aristo ECU
Hey guys, so yesterday when my car was warming up i noticed a bit of a sputter on acceleration.
The sputter went away as soon as the car warmed up, but right now pulling away from the light it did it again and threw a CEL for code 55 which is rear knock sensor.
Anyone know what this code is generally associated with? The misfiring/sputter has gotta horrible and i dont know if its detonation or what.
Anybody know what code 55 usually means?

Thread above may help a little
Sounds like a progressive failure which is similar. No full resolution though--short of replacing sensor.

check the wire on the rear knock sensor.
Also inspect the coilpacks (remove boots and check under for cracks).
If none of those I would check the injectors. were they cleaned up before putting them in?
either something with the sensor or wiring itself, but it if happens after a sputter or something I would think its working and something is giving you knock.
double check your base timing when the engine is warm up and idling at idle rpm's, if it is too aggressive it could be that as well especially with the tt ecu, I used to get some cold knocking/stumble that would go away when warmed up (never had the cel go off I just knew it didnt feel right), so thats why I say to set it to 8 degrees at the highest. Since I did that it drives perfect. I am also 1 mile in the air in elevation so it may be a little different for everyone else.
