Default Exhaust leak

Ive had an exhaust leak since I switched out my exhaust out. Ive got the stock headers/cat to a 3" HKS midpipe and Blitz catback. The leak is in between the flanges of the stock cat & midpipe.

When it was first put on, the shop said i needed a gasket and sealed it with RTV. That blew out quick so i ordered a few 3" exhaust gaskets. I figured this would solve my problem, but nope still leaked. I even tried doubling up on the 3" gasket, but there was still a leak. My last attempt was a recommendation from a friend, ultra copper sealant. Just like all the rest, this did not seal the leak very well.

Recently got my inspection done and the guy said i needed to get the leak fixed. I also noticed a decrease in mileage since it first blew out, so i just wanna fix the damn leak. Theres a gap between the flanges, and thats where the leak is coming from im assuming.

Anybody have this problem before, or have a solution? This is only temporary for a few months until I swap out my stock motor for a 1j, which means i wont have the stock cats so hopefully this problem wont exist.

Heres a pic of the flanges, incase it helps at all.

You could probably bend it back, applying some heat

Is it relatively easy to bend it back? or worth going through the trouble since its only temporary?

Would a donut gasket have a chance at sealing it?

Yeah looks bent, id go to an exhaust shop and have em heat it and clamp it back straight.

Might also have a bit to do with going from stock collector size to 3 inch. Its like 2 1/4- 3 inch right?

Just have a muffler shop cut off the 2 bolt flange and put on a 3bolt flange with gasket all done.

damn, was hoping i wouldnt have to go back to a shop. Would it matter that its going to a bigger exhaust if everything lines up correctly besides the hole?

Whats the point in cutting off the current flanges to put 3 bolt flanges? The stock cats arent staying for long

2 bolt flanges are notorious for warping hence why domestics have been using 3 bolts for yrs.
