More 2JZ vvti wiring questions
Alright here's where I'm at. I just bought a '96 sc300 project car. Previous owner began swapping an aristo vvti gte in it. I got the car with 5 boxes of harnesses and what a mess. From what I've come up with I have an is300 engine harness and ignition coils, a jdm vvti supra tt ecu and a rats nest of chassis harness. Info is so scattered that my head hurts and I'm getting frustrated. Long of the short I need to figure out how to re pin he ecu connectors to match the ecu as well as figure out what I need as far as making the damn thing run. This car will be a track car and I don't need to make the cluster work. Can anyone help me out?

Alright. Im going to attempt to figure this out myself. Just need to find the ecu pin out for my pcm. 89661-14830 is the part number. If anyone has the pin out that would really help. I'll be using alldata for the is harness. I will try to document here as i go. Akso can anyone tell me what ignitor i should be using as well as if i need an injector reaistor?

A VVTi GTE harness is nearly identical to a GE VVTi ECU pinout. You do NOT need an injector resistor, unless you decide to go with low impedence injectors. An Aristo VVTi is also the same as a Supra VVTi with the exception of 2 wires, but with that being a "track car" those two wires are irrelevant due to their function.

Progress
Alright I have a bit of an update that makes a lot of things make sense now. The engine harness I have is not for an is300 but for a 99 sc300. This should make my life sooooo much easier now and I might just use the factory cluster after all! Now I just need to find a good pinout for a '98+ jdm supra tt ecu so I can re pin and the '96 sc chassis plugs so I can compare to the '99 harness. For any one interested here's the '99 sc ecu pinout.

As far as the engine harness goes It looks as if this is gona be a plug and play affair!!!

Im trying to swap a aristo vvti 2jzgte ecu into my is300 engine which is a 2001 vvti 2jzge. Do you know if this ecu will work and do you know what pins on my ge harness ill have to repin? also what are the wire differences between the supra vvti and aristo vvti?
