Default New exhaust installed 4.5" tips

I recently got two new exhaust. They are the dunk style ones. Got them for cheap so I didn't complain. Today I went to get them installed axle back like how the Blitz Nur Specs come.

I couldn't get them to stick out more because the stock bumper was blocking the way. After they were done, I was anxiously waiting to hear it roar. I'm standing there waiting for them to turn the car on and the next thing I notice, they are reversing it out. WTF???? With all those resonators, it made my new exhaust more quiet than my stock ones.

Well, I wanted a quiet exhaust and would have been happy with my stock ones if they stuck out more but these will do. For everyone planning on getting an exhaust and worried about it being too loud, just do an axle back and leave the resonators alone.

what brand did you get? do you have any pics? how much? it's not welded on, is it? so you can change back to the stock exhaust if you decide to?

These are by CheckPoint. I'll take some pics of them tomorrow. They are not welded on. The pipings are welding to the flange or something like that. So I can take them off and put the stocks back on if I want to. They were like $70 each.

Naw they don't have those. Maybe you can get the shop to heat the metal? I think thats how they get it that color.. Have you seen polished headers? After awhile, they are blueish purple and such...

Throw some nitrous on, it'll get that way after a few runs naturally!

It is just the muffler and about 1ft of piping with the flange. Total cost was about $205.
