SC400 to manual or 2JZ-GTE and V160?
Hi,
I'm in Australia and am about to buy a V8 Soarer GT LTD UZZ31 (SC400). As far as I can see, I have two upgrade paths:
1. Stick with the V8, and look for an aftermarket supercharger or turbocharger kit. Going this way, I would want to add a manual transmission... anyone have details on which manuals will bolt up? Can I fit a V160 off a Supra, a R154 off an old Supra or a R154 off a Soarer 2.5TT? Would I need to change the diff/driveshaft? If so, to what?
2. Try to get a wrecked MKIV imported at the same time, and drop in the 2JZ-GTE, V160 and rear end. Will this work?
Does anyone have the final drive ratios for the Soarers?
