I'm not a fan of aftermarket alarms like Viper, etc. I'm happy the nice SC300 I bought did not have one installed.

I was wondering if their was a way to hook up a sound module from An aftermarket alarm to the factory alarm WITHOUT compromising the horn.

I may want to install a small air horn or other so it can sound when the alarm goes off. But I don't want to hear it when I use the horn.

I know it's possible. Back in the day I used to hear some Japanese "armed" and "disarmed" messages on some riced out civics. I'm not sure if they used a custom module or a JDM alarm. Personally I wouldn't mess with anything on the alarm. They're a pain the *** to install (depending on your skill) and many things could go wrong if you mess something up. It's just a sound anyways

it can be done. get an aftermarket alarm system like viper.

^ This. Better yet get a remote start system. I have an Avital that I would like to remove the after market siren from and connect to the oem horn instead.
