Exclamation From NON VVTI to VVTI..??

I just had a quick question...
I have a 93 sc300 with a non vvti 2jz ge that has given out on me
So im looking to do a swap.
(Keep in mind this car will be my daily driver)
I would really like to do a 1jz GTE swap but from what Ive heard turbo engines can sometimes cause more problems then r worth it, especially if the car is your daily driver.

So i was was thinking about just keeping it stock but ugrade from a non vvti to a VVTI GE motor.
I was wondering first, if I can use the same wiring harness from my non vvti and second if it would be better off to get a 1jz or just keep it stock with a vvti??

I don't think it would be worth the trouble to get a VVTi GE motor to swap it in. I honestly don't think turbo motors are that much trouble at all, I mean technically you have more variables to worry about as opposed to an NA motor. But also remember that Soarers came factory with 1JZGTE motors. If you start putting in crappy aftermarket parts and install them incorrectly, of course you are going to have problems. But 1JZ motors go for 1k now and with a downpipe and exhaust you should be able to get 270rwhp.
