Default Rear end question on LS1 swap

Well I got an LS1 with 30k on it and the T56 6 speed trans for my 95 SC400. I have searched this site and found lots of info.. one thing I'm not clear on is my rear end. what do i do with this thing.? I feel that it will explode when i mate this engine and tranny up to it. can I use the GM rear end.? my shop that is doing it is amazing and can fab anything. They did a ls1 on a supra couple years ago and it's still on the road with no probs it already had the turbo rear end though.. they are not sure about this ether. I told him I would research options first before they need to. will the LSD supra turbo rear end do the trick.? they are spendy. aside from what i paid for the engine I'm looking at 4 grand for the install.

Any help would be appreciated .. thanks.

the stock sc diff is just as strong as a turbo supras, it's just an open unit instead of a Torsen LSD. I can't comment on how the Toyota diffs compare to the gm/ford rear ends.

IMO the diff isn't a necessity right off the bat, however you will have a lot more control over the power with a limited slip
