Exclamation Wants to turn off when I complete stop.

Hey everyone. I have a 92 SC 300 that I love. But it's starting to bug me that nothing I do fixes the rough idle and bogging down after you come to a complete stop. First I thought it was the EGR system. Cleaned it out (straight filthy), then I recently changed spark plug wires. It helped, but the problem persists. My check engine light goes on and off periodically, but I don't know why. Anyone think it is an ignition problem or something else? Any help would be appreciated.

I had very similar problem. I had to get my ecu rebuilt. Everything ran well and check engine lights went away, but it was still trying to die at a complete stop. I just replaced my fuel pump today (it was running but probably not enough pressure, so it SEEMED good). Drove it for 45 minutes today and so far everything seems great.

Ecu bypass, then clean iacv, then check fuel pressure, then if all is good, its the ecu more than likely. These can be straight havoc on several unusual symptoms !! Good luck.

Reset ECU, clean IACV, clean MAF or in your case the AFM. Blowing it out will clean it.

Check both your coils, do the fuel pump ecu mod, clean iacv, reset your ecu.
