my thoughts also, seems like you already know the pros and cons about it. Its your car, if you want to do it go ahead and let us know how it goes instead of going back and forth with everyone telling you not to do it.

I would cut my springs rather then torch them, with cutting them atleast you have an idea how much it lowers it.

And this is coming from a guy who slammed a 97 Ininfit q45 to the ground using s14 springs that barely fit the spring buckets on my struts.

Haha nice. I was thinking the same thing. This isn't a dating site. Anyway, just try the Supra TT springs with the supra shocks. All oem stuff. Search for "supra springs". You'll find tons of threads with guys who have used that setup to give you an idea how low it will be.

You bought a lexus...gotta pay to play. If you dont have the funds to do it right, then save up. It will suck when you screw things up and have to drop the money to fix them

I've already purchased the LCA's and told the guy to keep the springs; he's already refunded me the difference.
Im just gonna buy coilovers (as much as I'd rather wait; it's whatever). However in regards to that video, the idiot they're talking about heated the springs while they were still on the car, in order to allow the weight of the car to bear down on them.
That is pretty ghetto, and it's not what I had planned. I wanted to do it more precisely, with the springs off of the vehicle; I think that makes a big difference. Anyway, it's over already, I have the parts I needed, and decided on coilovers.

coilovers is the way..

heated springs is just as rice as the guy who you bashed for wanting to do the lifted hood to vent the heat in his engine bay..
