Yeah the flywheel may have to be modified, but they already make 1 it looks like, and the 2jz adapter.
i thought you could get there setup and in the future be able to use a different clutch / PP, but maybe there is something custom to it.

Double that price if you want him to include a clutch setup that can hold any sort of real power (which are still basic single disc setups). His clutch setup is custom made and can only be ordered through him (according to him), he will have the ability to charge whatever he wants if that's the case. Hence this being the single thing that is holding me back as I like to have options, and buy it from anywhere I choose to. I've asked him about different clutch setups, and how much replacement clutches are, but he has not replied as of yet.

The truth will come out eventually. I bet they're off the shelf parts that he's managed to figure out the right combo. It most likely loosely based on a 1JZ flywheel and PP with matching diameter 350z clutch disc.

Worst case, call up Tilton and speak to them about a proper twin or triple setup. They charge an arm and a leg for off the shelf setups but luckily a custom setup through them only adds 1 more limb and is pretty much guaranteed to be the finest clutch combo. They can drill a flywheel to match any crank and their 7.25" clutches are pretty universal. Just may need to run a clutch stop to prevent damage.

That's what I'm hoping, and why I'm still considering just buying his kit. I'm sure once I have the parts in hand, I can figure out what off the shelf PP and disc they are so that I can buy whatever I want in the future. I would pay the double price he is asking if he would then share what clutch it is so that I can buy my own future replacements. I understand if he did the research to figure it out and wants to charge for that time/effort. Im willing to pay that extra upfront, but from then on out i want to know what it is so I can order it from any where i want.
Also if you look at his pic on ebay, the flywheel actually looks like a thicker version of a 350z one. In the center non friction area of it, you can see the similarity to a 350z FW.

Hopefully someone finds out what parts he is using. I read on it that his kit for 500HP is not streetable... which would certainly blow for anyone pushing over 500 that wants the cheaper 6 speed alternative. My goal is a GTE swap and roughly 600whp with 6 speed trans. I really dont likw the idea of selling my soul for the Getrag V160. so hopefully this gets figured out

Interesting....another trans option for the future. Not sure if things have changed but when i was reading about this and gathering info contemplating an Sr20-->Z33 trans setup a lot of feedback came back about the 350z trans having a breaking point of about 600whp (whatever that translated to TQ for the setups). Not sure if things have changed much since then but a lot more guys were running the 300zx TT trans with their SR's and had great results even with high hp and tq #s

SP was running the stock CD009 350z trans in their drag 350z making over 1000hp. The CD009 vintage trans are supposedly pretty solid.

Been speaking with Brett from 1uzswap more. I've started ordering up some of the parts for this swap (going piece by piece so it doesn't hurt the bank as much). He has a solution that sounds like it'll be perfect for me.

Thanks Brett if you're reading this!
