EGR removal problem
I have a check engine light which is pointing to a carboned up EGR valve. Does anyone have any tricks for getting the EGR pipe off? The top is undone, but it seems that the bottom of the pipe must also be loosened to get the EGR valve off the car. Any tricks in doing this? The car is a '95 sc300.

Thank you for the replies. My issue is getting to those two 12 mm bolts on the bottom side of the EGR pipe. I can not see a way to get to them without removing the intake. I think if the intake manifold comes off, the EGR valve should come with it.

Swivel Socket + Extension = Easy
I removed the EGR off of a GS300 in about 2-3 minutes with a basic hand tool set.
Undo the top and the bottom 12mm bolts, don't try to mess with the pipe.
