Default Advice needed on crank shaft pulley

i think my crank pulley on my 97 sc300 has gone bad. im not 100% sure yet. im going to try the white out trick later today. ive been hearing squeaking ever since i changed my alternator a few days ago. the samething happend with my 94 300. i replace the power steering pump then started getting a squeaking noise from the belt. i replaced the belt and still had a squeak, which led me the think the tensioner was bad. while replacing the tensioner, my crank pulley fell off of the motor just from bumping against it lol.

anyways, i need help on which pulley to get. an oem crank pulley/ harmonic balancer is around 300 brand new but im seeing aftermarket pulleys around 200 and some as low as 65 bucks. i know the aftermarkets are much lighter, but is that good or bad? will it affect my alternator, power steering, etc? is it best to just replace with the oem pulley or are the aftermarkets better?

Crank pulley stay with something with harmonic balance. A titan unit, fluidamper or if you're lucky can find an old used boostlogic unit. Other than that if you want pullies I debated on going with Greddy but the prices on that is just freaking luda at over $400. I settled with some drifmotion pullies and they are top notch.

stick with the OEM pulley it is balanced to keep the engine running smooth and also prevents damage from occuring in your rotating assembl
