Mass airflow sensor mods?? 1jzgte vvti
Want to know if you guys knew any mods for the mass airflow sensor cause I wanted to run a 4" intake but can't cause of the sensor. If I take it off the car runs with retarded ignition... I know I can mount it on my charge pipe right before the throttle but my friend told me something about rewiring it so I won't need it.. Any suggestions? Or can someone elaborate on my friends theory

Run a reasonable sized air filter, and leave the Stock MAF for good drivability?
From what this thread suggests is leaving it since it can flow 500whp.

It crazy you even have to deal with this, since the earlier 1jz's like mine have a MAP sensor, so you can run any filter setup you want.

Thank god for forums and ppl like you guys lol thanks dude.. What is the size of the pipe your running for the intake? Or are you just running filter..mag... Then turbo?
