2jzgte vvti problem
Hello it's me again, so if I change the throttle body and the admition the car will run better. I cancelled the dbw and the oem throttle body is move by cable like old school, so I think that the problem is that I don't have the dbw and move the throttle mechanical, the solution is in change the parts that you suggest me?
The will run better with that parts?
Thanks

On what ecu?
if you are on the stock vvti gte ecu it will not work ..You need an ems to do that.
First you guys need to jump it at the ecu to get a cel and go from there..otherwise you will be chasing your tail..vvti ecu is very sensitive.
I hate it with passion..ive helped my friend with a aristo vvti swap in the 98 GS300 lol it wasn't that easy.

Yes I've the oem ECU of the 2jzgte vvti, also I've automatic tranny.
So what I need to do?
You said I need and ems?
What is ems?
Sorry for too many questions but I'm from Mexico and non one have the 2jz, I now I've bad grammar but please give me your advice.
The problem with my swap it is that I feel they are underpermance, when you push the gas pedal to floor I fell that I only use 160hp not 280 I feel my car like the oem ka24de the original engine of my 240sx s14.
Please give all you advices for make a real 2jzgte vvti.
Thanks

I will try to help you as much as I can.
First you have to find the F59 connector, ground pin 5 to the chassis , strut tower and you will the check engine light blinking.
Once that happens , we start moving in the right direction.
let me know.

No read my posts , I didn't say it will solve your problem..
I said jump pin 5 from the F59 connector and ground it at the chassis, your check engine light will blink , pull the codes and then we can move forward .
I posted the link so you can see the pictures of your ecu connectors they are all labeled in that link.
