All the 700+whp sc fuel e85 setup pics please
My turn
I am trying to make up my mind of how i wanna run my inline pumps i really don't want intake setup unless i have too.
I have (2) bosch 044 that i wanna put inline but i wanna see how the rest of the guys are running their pumps.
i am looking for 800+rwhp E85 setup and i don't wanna mess with walbro, looking for Solid setup that's why i picked the 044 they will be plenty enough for my setup .
I thought about doing (1) intank and (1) inline i kept getting confuse , but at this point i just wanna do the easiest setup because i am handicap ( i can only use my right hand) if it's not too complicated i will do it myself ortherwise i will let me buddy do it and i will just pay him.
at this point i don't mind putting the (1) 044 intank but no walbro intank setup.
I wanna do this once for all i really don't wanna do this again tired of working on cars .
Please post some pics of your setup if you have some and your inputs will be appreciated.
Suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in Advance.

I ran 2 TT denso pumps in tank. Ran both of them on the stock hangar, Very tight fit, but it worked great, Was able to run 34psi+125 shot on E-85.
Sorry, dont have any pictures but I ran both fuel pumps to a -10 bulkhead fitting on the fuel sending unit top tank plate, -10 fuel line from the tank to a -10 in/out fuel filter with stainless element, Ran a 'Y" block and fed each end of the rail with -8 lines. Ran a -6 line from the center of the fuel rail back to the tank.

^ that's for supra and it won't work on the SC.
The Sc tank and the Supra one are completely different the Supra hanger will not work on the SC and the SC hanger will not work on the Supra.

omar as we spoke the other day keep it simple .. for 800 rwhp do the new walbro 400lph pump , do the bosch 044 .. hardwire using 8 gauge from battery to each pump ( run each pump on sep wiring)want to ensure you get at least 13.5 volts at pump, one thing i would change though from what we talked about the other day is elminate the feed from bottom of tank .. run the 3/8 th submersible fuel line from pump directly to a bulkhead fitting mounted on the cap on tank located in trunk .. from there run a -8 line from there to bosch and make sure bosch is mounted where fuel filter used to be(i mention this way to eliminate almost 24 inches of line to get fuel to the thirsty 044 quicker and more consistent) .. then -8an from 044 to -10an sized fuel filter up front after filter use a y block halfway up to rail split into 2 -6an into each side of rail and use -6an return right to tank( you can use your -6an current feed as the return now)
on pump gas the other way we spoke about is perfect on e85 we want to ensure no pressure drop in boost ..as i mentioned to you i run mine the way you currently have and on pump gas at 600 rwhp we were taking alot of fuel out the map e 85 needing approx 30% more fuel may need more flow

Make one for the SC? All you have to do is bend it 90 degrees down to fit in the SC tank correct?
I'm sure you could find a machine shop or something to get it made.
Clean, and simple. This way you don't have to remove the tank to weld bulkheads in.

omar call me and to use a bulkhead theres no need to weld on bottom side of tank and a bosch 044 will not survive for long on e85 in tank as the casing itself on the outside was never designed to withstand e85 corrosive natures.. have a friend down here making 1041 was using 3 044 intank and 2 died within months due to e85 eating thru its casing , he since went to one large magnafuel external.. 044 were designed for inline use and the internal design was meant for e85 running thru it as opposed to outside its casing ( this i verified with bosch directly)

Thanks for all the inputs guys.
I am back to work after 10 days being off , after work i will go home and lay everything down and see what am working with .
I may not have enough fittings , because i forgot to order -6an fittings but that's no big deal i could run the stock return line for a couple days till i get the fittings.
Ed i think you will only have issues with the 044 intank if you don't drive the car and just let it sit with a full tank of E85 i will drive my car everyday unless it snows.
If you are on Proefi you shouldn't have a problem with the pumps being corroded , if you know the car is going to sit for a couple days / weeks just leave about a 1/4 tank of E85 in it and fill it up with 93 oct and you will be good.
This is just my opinion! anyone with 044 intank you do if they run E85 full time and can afford the Proefi.
Yes, E85 is corrosive, but so is gasoline, E85 is also biodegradable in water, so it has a tendency to attract water, and believe it or not, it is high water content in fuels that can be harmful to a vehicle, causing the fuel system to rust from the inside out.

I agree with Lex...I would run the bulkhead and to the pump. I am running the pump intank but not doing E85. I have the pump (going to get another one here shortly) to a -10 bulk and going to a -10 filter and then Y to -8 on both sides of fuel rail.
Eliminating the feed through the bottom is easy - just do not connect the feedline at the top of the hanger. I eliminated all the hardlines, the stock filter, even the hardline that goes to the breather box in the front.
I have not started the car and with all this talk of E85 I am begining to really think about it. System is setup up...just need to swap out the injectors.
