Default 1UZFE problem

ok....ive got the 1uz in my sc400....and it doesnt like to run properly in 90+ degree weather. What could be causing this? It likes to idle around 1500rpm and cuts out when gas is pressed on. It will revv up if the gas is slowly pushed and with cut out. Could this be caused by bad vacuum hoses?
