1995 Sc400 Radiator Questions
Hey Everyone,
Just had my timing belt service done and the mechanic recommended a new radiator soon.
I have a 1995 Sc400 and was wondering what brand/ Where/ and how much they go for.
I searched around and NAPA quoted me $300 and then found a Koyo factory replacement unit for $200.
Just seeing what everyone else went with before I ordered it.
Thanks

your automatic so keep in mind you have to have a transmission cooler and the factory radiator has the trans cooler built into it.
very few of the aftermarket radiators have the trans cooler built in. If you go aftermarket youll have to add a seperate cooler which is going be ~$150 for a good setup
PWR is the proabably the best option of the performance radiators
Fluidyne is next
then on ebay you can find Koyo/Mishimoto/griffin all of which are excellent cheaper alternatives
(ususally a little bit of modification is required to fit these since they were actually made for the supra)
the factory radiators run around $500 last i checked, but its direct drop in plug&play

Hmmm so do you think the radiator from NAPA would be plug and play? I really dont want or need a performance radiator. Its my DD so any stock replacement is great.
Also $500 for a OEM! I thought $300 was expensive haha

Update. Im going with the koyo replacement radiator. Comes with everything for plug and play including transmission cooler.
part # KOYO A1306
I found it online for about $200 shipped so not bad at all. Hope this helps someone else in the future.
