Default What exhaust should I buy next? (Nur Specs got stolen)

Guys,

It's been a few weeks since the Blitz exhaust got stolen and I am still rolling around with no mufflers and it pains me to do it.

I am just torn as to what exhaust I should buy next... can't figure out if I should get nice mufflers and have a shop do custom piping or get a full cat back kit...

I have looked at all the threads and just cant decide which ones to get. Not too crazy about the long tip 5Zigens (badass exhaust in it's own right, but I am gonna eventually boost the SC and that exhaust just doesn't seem to fit well with a turbo car, I see it more of a baller VIP exhaust).

So what should I get? I can't believe I am having such a hard time with this.

Judging by the track record so far, might as well just jump on a ebay Megan special...

Not looking for anything cheap. Ebay sounds like a no-no to me

Well you said you're going to boost the SC, a straight pipe will be good but it will sound horrible while NA

I'm in complete shock that your exhaust got stolen from you... was it on the car when this happened or what?

I'm going to echo what everyone else said... custom 4in downpipe to 3.5in dual exhaust!

If I know 97-SC300's style, it has nothing to do with straight pipes.

But that still brings the question, what style muffler are you willing to go with? The Blitz style (canister), or the 5zigen-ish OEM-style muffler...

The HKS Carbon-Ti sounds legit on my friends IS300, but I dont believe they make it for the SC.

Has anyone seen Carbon-Ti's on a SC? They kinda get my vote!

If not, I think a good Magnaflow setup will suffice, polished mufflers and tips, even 3" (manifold-back)

I recall a member by the name of sOarer having a modded Supra TT HKS Carbon Ti on his NA-T SC300. I'm not sure if there are any pictures of it still up on this website, but it looked awesome. I'm still debating whether to get a Carbon Ti or go with custom duals.
